Cookie Notice

Last updated: 3 November 2026

This notice explains how this website uses cookies and similar technologies, and how to choose what we use.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help a website function, remember preferences and, with your permission, measure how it is used.

2. How we use cookies

We use three kinds of cookie and similar technology:

  • Strictly necessary. These keep the site secure and remember your cookie choice. They are always on and do not need your consent.
  • Analytics (only if you accept). Google Analytics, to see how people use the site and where they come from.
  • Advertising measurement (only if you accept). Google Ads and Google Merchant Center measurement, to see whether our adverts and free Google listings lead to enquiries or sales. We do not use it to show you personalised adverts.

When you first visit, all Google measurement is switched off. Nothing from Google is loaded, and no analytics or advertising cookie is set, until you press Accept all or choose which kinds to allow. Reject all is as easy as Accept all, and you can change your mind at any time (see section 3).

3. Your choices and how to withdraw consent

Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or the button at the top of this page, to change your choice. If you switch a kind off, we stop using it straight away and delete the Google cookies we can reach on this site. We will ask you again after 180 days. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

You can also delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage how Google uses advertising data in your Google ad settings. Google may read or set a few cookies on its own domains (for example google.com or doubleclick.net) if you accept advertising measurement. Those are controlled by Google, and your browser settings or Google ad settings are the way to remove them.

5. Google Analytics and Google advertising measurement

What they record, if you accept. The pages you view, the website or advert you came from and any campaign tags in the link, your browser, device type, language and approximate location (city and country), and actions such as sending an enquiry, clicking through to checkout, or completing a purchase or free trial. For a purchase we send the order value and a Stripe order reference. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, address or card details to Google. We have switched off Google signals and advert personalisation, and we do not run remarketing.

IP addresses. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. It uses the address to work out an approximate location and then discards it.

Lawful basis. Your consent, both under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (for the cookies) and under the UK GDPR (for the data they collect). You can withdraw it at any time as described in section 3.

Google’s role. For Google Analytics, Google acts as our processor and handles the data on our instructions under its data processing terms. For advertising measurement, Google also acts as an independent controller of the information collected through its advertising cookies, and uses it under Google’s Privacy Policy.

International transfers. Google LLC is based in the United States and your data may be processed there and in other countries. Google LLC takes part in the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (the “UK-US data bridge”). Where that does not apply to a transfer, Google’s terms include the ICO’s International Data Transfer Addendum (or an equivalent approved safeguard). Ask us at info@pyralink.co.uk for more information.

How long. Google Analytics data tied to a cookie identifier is deleted automatically after 14 months. The cookies themselves last up to 13 months (advertising cookies up to 3 months), as shown in the table above.

6. Third-party services

  • Form security (Cloudflare Turnstile). The contact form and the free cloud scan form use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a request comes from a person. It is loaded only on those pages and is used for security, not for advertising or tracking. Cloudflare processes technical signals from your browser, and may use browser storage, to run the check.
  • Newsletter sign-up (Beehiiv). The Pyralink™ Prove It sign-up form on our newsletter page is provided by Beehiiv and is shown inside our page. It loads only on that page. Beehiiv may set its own cookies or use browser storage to run the form, under its own policies.
  • Payments (Stripe). If you buy or start a trial, you complete checkout on a page hosted by Stripe, which sets its own cookies under its own policies.

7. Measuring visits without cookies

To see which pages are useful and where visitors come from, we also use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies and does not store anything on your device, but it does collect limited technical information from your browser, such as the page visited, the referring website, the browser type and the country. This runs whether or not you accept the Google options above. We use it only for statistical purposes, to improve the website, and we rely on the exception in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations that allows this for statistical purposes. We also count visits that arrive through a tagged link or from another website, using only the campaign tags in the link and the name of the referring website. In that count we store no cookie, IP address or device identifier.

Your right to object. You can object to this measurement at any time, free of charge. Block requests to static.cloudflareinsights.com in your browser settings or with a content blocker, or email info@pyralink.co.uk and tell us. We will not use measurement of visits to identify you.

8. Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you control or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the website works.
